Academic Qualification: Candidates who have completed their graduation/post-graduation in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible. Those in their final year can also apply, but their final mark sheets must be submitted before the admission process concludes.
Reservation: As per government and university rules, reserved category students will be given relaxation in the qualifying marks. However, the minimum required percentage will be determined by the concerned institution.
B.Ed./M.Ed. Eligibility: Candidates who have obtained a degree in B.Ed. or M.Ed. with at least 50% marks are also eligible, as per the norms of the university and college.
Age Limit: For courses like Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.) or Shiksha Acharya (M.Ed.), a minimum of 50% in the qualifying degree is necessary.

Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected on the basis of merit made on the basis of entrance exam:- Pre-Shiksha Shastri Test (PSST) conducted by Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur approved by NCTE. Results are declared in all leading news papers with the mentioning of the date of councelling .
